This document provides basic information on the ill effects of climate change and global warming on the planet, the health effects of which can only be approximated but are felt the strongest by the poorest communities. The World Health Organization (WHO) supports programs that combat infectious disease, improve water sanitation and services, and respond to natural disasters to help reduce health vulnerability to future climate change.
